Built in 1929 on the occasion of the Iberoamerican Exhibition by the architect Anibal González is one of the most representative works of the regional sevillian architecture. Its semi-circular shape symbolizes the embrace of Spain and its former colonies and looks at the Guadalquivir river as a pathway to follow towards America.
